A little editing yes, I thought it best to do so because that it what aPhoto would be used for and would be a good sample to use. The wires across the buildings were cloned out, that's all. The png preview you found is fine but the jpg found is the same as the unedited version. Can't see why an editing program would keep a copy of the original inside the edited file but I'm no expert on that subject.

FullScreen: Doesn't sync with thumbnails

Hi:
While inside Fullscreen. The thumbnails on the top don't stay in sync with the image being viewed.
This makes for harder navigation and keeping track of where you are.

FullScreen: Not Tagging Files with keyboard shortcut

Hello:
While inside Fullscreen you can no longer tag files via keyboard shortcut (Spacebar).
Pretty sure this worked a while back.

Crash on Windows Redstone

Yes it happens after start, but not immediately, few seconds after start, no matter if full screen viewer or browser.
Unsure where to find them. It's not BSOD, app just crashes. Sometime it's 10 times in a row before i can get into.

Xnview Classic under Win10 video frame is black

all files are having this problem.
in preview mode for a split second i see video and then it's black. but sound is available/
If I double click to display in its own tab the video plays just fine.
EDIT: another thing is that I can see frames updating if I keep re-sizing the preview window using the drag handle. But if i stop resizing the video goes black again.

Crash while other app handle files

I work with XnView and Hugin (Panorama photo stitcher). With Hugin you can create panorama pictures.
If you combine pictures with Hugin, it automatically generate/remove some temporary tif-files in the current folder. Have opened the same folder in XnView, leads to crash it. In my opinion it happens if XnView scans the folder to new files. But the files are handled (create/delete) from Hugin in the same time.![:?:]( "Question")
Yesterday I sent a crash report about that problem. Maybe that help, too, to find the bug.

[v0.81] "cmd_showGrid" out-of-sync

Another bit of info:
This does not happen in v0.79. It Seems to work fine in that version.
In the other versions it always defaults back to show grid after every restart.

Here are three multilayer samples from Affinty Photo & Designer and Adobe Illustrator:

As you seen on that screenshot, Finder shows a correct preview oft these files.
It would be great if XnView support those files (and vector formats like SVG & EPS), as thumbnails or even better as a full preview, if it's possible.

Set custom selection ratio

XnView had the option to define a Custom Selection Size or Custom Selection Ratio. This seems to have disappeared in XnViewMP. The only way to do this is to actually click the Crop tool BEFORE you make a selection. If a selection is already made, there is no way to define a custom ratio or size afterwards.
Can this be fixed?

XnViewMP has no CompanyName in resources

In Windows 10, it is not possible to set XnViewMP as a "Default Program" , nor is it possible to associate all files with XnViewMP. This is because XnViewMP has no "CompanyName" in its resources and is not recognized by the new Windows 10 application scheme.

File->Export always disabled in 0.81 (Win x64)

Ah, it looks like it only occurs when I Import Clipboard, which is something I use all the time for screenshots, so it does seem to be the same bug. With regular open, it's always available.
I'm using 0.82 beta 3 now with the same result.

nconvert not converting .dat file into jpg in linux version

In my server Linux CentOS release 6.8 (Final) and it doesn't support latest version of nconvert and using the old version of nconvert and using this nconvert to convert a .dat file into .jpg and it's failing. Please help me to sort it out.
Can anyone specify in which linux version the latest nconvert works???.
