Symbolic directory links do work for me (when clicking on them XnView displays the linked directory in the folder tree and the contents in the file list.
But: For symbolic directories the thumbnail doesn't display thumbnail of the images that reside in that folder.![Bug :bug:]()
Is this the bug that you mean, karnak?
To reproduce:
1. In Windows Explorer, create a short cut to a folder that contains images.
2. Start XnView and browse to the parent folder which contains the short cut.
Actual behaviour (bug): In the file list the (short cut) folder is displayed. There is a folder thumbnail but the thumbnail is without thumbnails of the images the folder contains.
Expected behaviour (correct): In the file list the (short cut) folder is displayed. The folder thumbnail is displayed with thumbnails of the images that the folder contains.
