Well, tastes might be different, but I found the program was somehow "naked" right after installation. Due to the fact that categories play quite an important roll in administrating photos, and I have to with about 130,000 pictures, I felt a bit lost with only the few keywords collected from the folders I browsed. Then, I don't know for how long I would have searched for the feature to manually create a catalog. Hence, I had to ask!
So yes, I would prefer to be asked after the installation for the option of immediately creating a catalog. And for refresh or maybe even creating further catalogs I would first look in "FIle -> Catalog -> New" or "FIle -> Catalog -> Refresh" or something like that, to keep up with the menue standards of most operating systems.
