If you rename a directory by right clicking on its name in the browser pane and selecting "rename," then XnView can successfully rename the directory on disk. However, the browser pane is not correctly updated. The directory ends up with the wrong kind of icon and it no longer displays the directory contents when it is selected. The only way I know to get XnView to correctly display the directory in the browser after a name change is to restart the program.
