Unless it crash on little folder, but usually iy happen in a big folders, like cloud photo sync folders, with hundreds if not thousands photos in it. So probably somehow it manages to create thumbnail after all, if after several attempts i'm getting into viewer. I can unlock you few images. Can also note, that i prefer des sorting by date in browser, which full screen viewer also uses. Could somehow be related?
